MacBook Erase All Content Settings or MacBook Reset

If your Mac doesn't have the "Erase all content and settings" feature, follow the steps below to reset your Mac. These steps also apply to resetting an Intel-based Mac.

  • First, back up your files . You can use a physical storage or a digital cloud ecosystem for this.
